slapd cannot started for bdb_last_id: get failed: Not enough space (12) (ITS#3167)

I installed OpenLDAP 2.1.25 with db4.2.52, and it runs well for a number of
days.
It stops suddenly and I try to start it again, problems as following occurs:

# ./slapd -d 16
bdb_initialize: Sleepycat Software: Berkeley DB 4.2.52: (December  3, 2003)
bdb_db_init: Initializing BDB database
=> bdb_last_id: get failed: Not enough space (12)
bdb_db_open: last_id(/export/home/xjli/usr/var/openldap-data) failed: Not
enough
 space (12)
backend_startup: bi_db_open(0) failed! (12)
slapd stopped.
connections_destroy: nothing to destroy.

What's the matter? Please help me.
