A rather clean solution would be provided by using the "chain" overlay
feature of back-ldap, or the proxyAuthz feature that is currently under
evaluation (needs to explicitly define LDAP_BACK_PROXY_AUTHZ to enable). 
However, back-ldap uses simple bind to bind as the administrative user
that will perform proxyAuthz, so there is still to work there...
