I note that back-bdb will occasionally set rs->sr_err to 1 after
sending an LDAP result to the "client", even in cases where it 
has sent LDAP_SUCCESS.

This error code creates an error condition in syncrepl_entry()
which, here at least, stopped sync replication from working for
anything beyond the first entry in a database.

Also, note that the debug message "be_modify/be_delete" will be
triggered if be_search() fails, which is somewhat misleading.
