This is a rather outdated patch that allows OpenLDAP to support
the GNU/Hurd operating system. Since there has been more recent
development on this patch which has been contributed to the Debian
maintainer of the OpenLDAP package, I urge you to cooperate fully
with the Debian maintainer to try and incorporate the version of
the patch which is in his hands.

I've included an appropriate copywrite statement at the top
of the patch file as a required formality.
