error while compiling mods.c (ITS#1423)

Hi,
I have a IBM machine, OS-windows-NT-4. I try to install openldap Server
version 2.0.18 on i686-pc-cygwin.

While installing the OpenLdap Server version 2.0.18 on my machine, the
behaviour is as follow:

1. I configure with following options :- env LIBS=-lgnuregex ./configure
--enable-ldbm --enable-ldap --enable-passwd --enable-shell
--with-ldbm-api=gdbm --with-wrappers --with-threads. It configured without
any error.

2. make depend works fine
3. while executing
    make
   I encounter following error
(Well the last part of the console reads as follows when the working
folder
is /cygwin/tmp/openldap-2.0.15/servers/slapd)

$ gcc -g -O2 -I../../include -I../../include       -c -o mods.o mods.c
make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/openldap-2.0.18/servers/slapd'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/openldap-2.0.18/servers'

In file included from slap.h:1202
                 from mods.c:19:

proto-slap.h:391:parse error before '*'
proto-slap.h:391:parse error before 'FILE'
proto-slap.h:391: warning data defined has no type or storage class.
proto-slap.h:391:parse error before '*'

Please reply ASAP. As my work is stuck due this problem.

thanxs. in advance.
