CPU Usage High (ITS#1391)

Under a stress of 50 ldap call in 5 seconds, the CPU usage reaches 80% for a SUN
SPARC E450 with 2 CPU.  The call contains a "ModifyAttributes".  

With the same stress with a call to create records, the CPU usage does not
exceed 2%.

Is there anything wrong with LDAP server or is it the configuration?

I don't believe such operation will cause a CPU usage of 80%.
