RE: Why version 2.0.7 and 2.0.8 is so slow on linux RedHat (ITS#1153)



It's probably a DNS issue.  Do you have DNS configured correctly?  If not
2.x takes a long time to establish an LDAP connection.

In general I have found 2.x to be much faster than 1.x.

Now I narrow the issue.
During I installed openldap 1.2.11,I typed "cd tests" and "make test"
the system would finished this section in 10 seconds.
But on openldap 2.0.7 or 2.0.8.This period would take about 20
minutes.Although It will report test successfully.
Can you help me.
