Ldapsearch wildcard problem (ITS#449)

I went through all of the installation, tests and everything went fine. Then I
started my server, added some entries and searched them (ex. objectclass=*),
just as the quick-start
guide said to and everything worked fine.

Then I killed the slapd process and restarted it.

When I did a search this time (the same on I did before) with a wild card it
said
0 matches

When I do a search and say exactly what I'm looking for (ex. objectclass=person)
it
works fine.

Any ideas?
