Problems with ldif2ldbm

Hi LDAP Team and Users,

just downloaded and compiled openldap-devel-981116.

It compiled under HP-UX 10.20 and Irix 6.2 with
gcc 2.8.1 using Sleepycat 2.5.9 as backend.
Under HP-UX everything is fine whereas with IRIX
the test creating the database failed.

ldif2ldbm produces the following output:

This problem even occurs in various prevoius versions
of openLDAP. Creating the database under HP works fine
and using that Database files on IRIX with the IRIX
slapd also works.
Can anyone entlighten me on the ldif2ldbm Problem ?

Furthermore, using the Perl-Modul perl-ldap0.08 with the
HP makes the slapd crash. On IRIX there is no problem
and the researches are preformed correctly. Any of the
researches done with the implemented ldap->search
on HP-slapd chrashes the server. The last few debugging
lines say:
