After some tests multiple values for attribute jpegPhoto seems to cause
problems. I tried to add two values for 'jpegPhoto' from LDIF file with ldapadd
command-line tool. ldapadd hangs forever. My own client gets LDAP_SERVER_DOWN
during such an AddRequest.

An entry which already contains two values on attribute jpegPhoto can be
correctly dumped using slapcat but the values cannot be retrieved via LDAP
search request.

Adding only a single value to attribute jpegPhoto works just fine. It can be
added and retrieved correctly.

I am unable to reproduce this problem on my Linux system; I have added two
jpegPhoto's to an entry using ldapmodify and ldapsearch retrieves them both
without incident.

You'll have to provide more details - if the server is crashing, run it under a
debugger and get a stack trace from the crash.

Howard fixed the problem in HEAD.

I've applied the patch to my local REL_ENG_2_1 installation and the problems
seem to be solved.

Thanks!
